Shlomo founded Shlomo Zarfati Law Office in Haifa, bringing practical business and considerable legal experience from previous law practice in leading Israeli law firms.

 

Shlomo provides corporate, commercial, intellectual property, real estate and litigation services to a varied clientele. In recent years, Shlomo has been involved in numerous commercial transactions including private investments and fund-raisings, mergers and acquisitions, venture lending, licensing and distribution. Shlomo’s IP practice focuses on patent, copyright, trademark and passing-off issues. He is experienced in representing clients in court proceedings and in prosecution and opposition proceedings before the Israeli Patents and Trademarks Office. In his real estate practice, Shlomo represents local and foreign clients in the sale, acquisition, lease and construction of commercial and residential property. In addition, Shlomo is involved in administrative proceedings regarding decisions and actions of public authorities in Israel.

 

Non-traditionally, Shlomo practiced business before entering the field of law. Prior to receiving his law degree from the University of Haifa, Shlomo spent seven years in Tokyo establishing and managing a trading company for one of the most significant players in the jewelry industry in Japan. Consequently, Shlomo thinks not just as lawyer, but as business man. Combining business experience with legal knowledge, Shlomo devises optimal strategies, achieving the most efficient and favorable results for his clients.

 

Prior to founding Shlomo Zarfati Law Office Shlomo served as legal intern and as an associate in a highly rated law firms in the areas of corporate, M&A, high tech and venture capital. In this capacity, Shlomo was involved in major commercial transactions including venture capital investments, mergers and acquisitions, venture lending and labor related matters.
